I will really miss him.
How sad - he will be missed by so many.He died on my birthday.
I wonder if Claudine will come out of seclusion to attend his funeral?

I grew up listening to his beautiful voice. RIP Mr. Williams.![]()
Am I there yet?
I grew up listening to his albums. His recording of Moon River is the greatest IMO bar none. RIP.
I will not be ignored! -Me
Oh, no!! I too grew up with his music. RIP![]()
His rendition on "Oh Holy Night" is one of the most beautiful I've ever heard. In fact, his whole Christmas album is wonderful.
As a little girl, I watched his show with my family. He introduced me to my first hearthrob, Donny Osmond, back when I was only 5. Fond memories...he will be missed.
Give me one more quiet night, before this loud morning gets it right, and does me in.

I did not realize he was that old (84). I liked his singing. RIP.
Loved his show back in my high school days. Beautiful voice. I never hear any version of "Moon River" without comparing it to his.
RIP---memories of "Moon River" and Christmas music on the big blond hi-fi in the living room when I was a kid.
Living so close to Branson, MO we always got the commercials during Christmas of his singing "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" while they promoted all the shows and events in the area. Because of that, he'll always remind me of Christmas. RIP Andy.
Another legend passes away. So sad. As ABBA would have put it, thank you for the music. RIP

Oh Holy Night
He was great friends with Robert & Ethel Kennedy and sang Battle Hymn of the Republic at RFK's funeral. He also sang it in private when he walked up to the casket whilst JFK was lying in state. Unrehearsed and unfilmed, he refused to sing it again for the camera's stating that it was for JFK alone.

What sad news. May he rest in peace.![]()
Only ice is cooler than Daisuke.~ IceAlisa after the 2012 WTT men's event.
Andy's Oh Holy Night was my very favourite rendition of my very favourite Christmas Carol (until Josh Groban's version tied w/it), but I grew up listening to his entire Christmas album too. So many wonderful memories are tied up w/that record from Christmases during my childhood.
He truly had a golden voice and will be missed beyond anything any of us can say. May he now be singing w/the other Angels in the Choir.![]()
Such a sad loss.He was a really good singer, and I''ll always think of him when I hear "Moon River" and "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." RIP, Andy.

I still have his Christmas album, Christmas Present, and I still play it every Christmas - it's a family tradition. Thank you Andy Williams for your gift of music. RIP.
