This month's Sportsnet magazine has this really great picture of Bettman on it's cover. Reason why I say really great is due to this. We're getting close to Hunting Season around here, people are starting to sight in their guns or getting their bows out for practice to get their rusty skills up to snuff. That picture is just perfect for all those using targets at the moment.

One thing I do wonder about though is what happens w/Kraft Hockeytown? It's obvious the city/town that won this year won't be getting it's Pre Season Game, so do they get a carry over? I feel so awful for them out of all us fans of NHL Hockey. They spend all Summer getting excited for this and now...

I get the impression that a lot of key players are willing to keep the NHL shut down until Bettman is out, even if it takes until 2014 for that to happen.

I'm still on Dial Up, but hopefully that could change w/in the next week or so. Fingers crossed. However, for the time being, videos take forever to load for me and if they're streaming ones, then I might as well not even check it out. Hopefully if things pan out the way I hope, I'll be able to in a few days.

ITA w/you about the feeling the players are willing to sit out until Bettman's gone Bye Bye. However, I also don't think the League can survive a lockout for that long. We'll have to wait and see on that one.

I hope not for very long though.

My understanding from reading about the lock-out is that the players are willing to ride it out no matter how long. This is because the last strike in 2004 ended with the players making concessions to the owners in order to get a deal.

And I hate Gary Bettman too. He just reminds me of a slimy used car salesman, and I LOVE it when he gets booed by fans.
