    If there are any competitions in Chicago, this site (http://www.chicagotraveler.com/chicago_events.htm) would be a great resource for people who are visiting for the first time.

    Chicago area skating fans could try contacting these 2 clubs/organizations to let them know of their keen interest in having a major skating competition in the area and offering help as volunteers:
