The new rink is really nice! Looking forward to seeing more vids of this competition from there.
Only ice is cooler than Daisuke.~ IceAlisa after the 2012 WTT men's event.
How old is Kovtun? Who is his coach?
His jumps are not that good; they seem labored. He has time to improve though. Right now I don't think he can challenge Gachinski.
I like Yuko's hair!![]()

Bobrova and Soloviev win Finlandia, but they lost the free skate. They had the highest program components, but their tech marks were lower than those of Capellini and Lanotte.
He's 17.
He is newly coached by Buianova with an assist from Tarasova.
Here is the greatest youtube I have watched this season...of Tarasova watching him at hi performance.

Bobrova and Soloviev FD
They fixed her camel spin so now she does the donut position that I love. Her layback is great as well.
Not sure why they only got level 2 on the twizzles - they looked fine to me
As for why their Curve Lift only got level 2, there was an issue with Bobrova getting into her position, and they didn't hold the position long enough.

This is marvellous! Thank you for reposting the link! I hope TAT is always having a defibrillator with her, because at times she looks like she might get a heart attack! Now that’s what I call commitment to a job!
Yeah for Menshov! I saw him at Nebelhorn Trophy and he already seems to be in pretty good shape. (He did a quad during the final of the Gala!). Ivan Bariev also must have skated pretty well - he is not that much behind Gachinski. Also good to see Kovtun performing so well in the JGP, very impressing skate! Looks like the Russian men are finally on the rise again!
Any video links to the Russia Fed Cup? In particular Men & Ladies? And Protocols?
Here are some pictuers from the Federation Cup. There are some really great costumes from some of the skaters.![]()
^No videos besides K/S. No protocols either. It was a closed test skate.
DaiKozOda already posted the scores above (and mention Bermaternykh got injured, I hope he's ok) here's the more detailed scores for all the skaters. I don't know if the protocols will be published, they usually make it online somehow.
I'm hope more of the skaters will make it onto youtube, I'm sure they all were recorded I guess we'll have to hope.
Someone needs to work with Lipnitskaya on her clear lack of flow. She still isn't holding her moves and is now finishing every jump and spin with a little hop because she had no momentum left. It's extremely distracting.
She also needs to know that if she holds her I spin for more than 8 revs in her combination spin, the same feature cannot be counted again for her closing layback spin.
