So happy for Michelle and her fiance! The Kween of Hearts has at last found someone who won hers.

When I read about Clay Pell in the other FSU thread that mentioned MK and he were dating, I had a feeling Clay was a keeper! The fact they have shared values, goals and equally astonishing accomplishments speaks volumes. And then when LOVE blooms, I guess it does make everything all so simple and so right. Congrats to Michelle and her Man.

Re being able to see the wedding... I WISH. Michelle and Clay are obviously both low-key and family-oriented so maybe there will be a few pics released to the press, but I seriously doubt tv cameras. Wouldn't it be wonderful tho' for some fortunate long-time MKF fans to be invited. The guest list will probably also include close skating buds like Brian B, Evan, Vera, and perhaps Kristi, Dick Button, Peggy Fleming, Rafael Artunian, Scott Williams, Lori Nichol and Frank Carroll. Our Michelle moves in a very different world these days tho' far beyond skating.

There are close-ups of Clay Pell on the Internet (just google Michelle now and an image of Clay in a tux also appears under Images ) I think they are an attractive, not to mention charming, accomplished and down-to-earth couple. They are so low-key, I haven't seen any pics of them together yet.

As a Kwan fan, I wish I could be there to see it too. But that's just the momentary fan giddiness in me. Michelle generally keeps her private life private, with little fanfare. I think a magazine article with some pics of the wedding is about the most we fans can expect. So the rational part of me is fine with that. I am happy with just the knowledge that she's happy.
