That explains why it was nearly always Meryl who'd bring the medal to public appearances, but not Charlie.

Love Charlie's devotion to Mich football...I can relate, my husband is a lifelong UofM football fan, too, and after we married, he quickly got me hooked on it, too! It's not always easy but we never lose our faith in our Wolverines.

OMG I can't even begin to tell you guys how excited I am for Notre Dame now that everyone started posting links to those beautiful songs. And Meryl's tweet... I mean, I love A/P's take on Danse mon Esmeralda, but it's been so long and if someone is capable of pulling off a fresh and just as wonderful version of it, it's Meryl and Charlie.
