Wow...thanx for that link...enjoyable for sure. I think Patrick and Team Canada have a terrific chance at the World Team Event. He comes across as the nice kid he is......but very focused and confident............certainly not arrogant. I think he has a rather endearing personality that haterz just don't want to see.

Yes, thanks for the link. Made my morning great.
I found Andrew for you, professordeb.Really nice photo. Patrick once again looks like he's having fun. Missing one hottie in that photo though -- where's Andrew?
They were attending the ladies' event at Worlds here.
And a picture from the banquet.
I'll set off to Tokyo today. I hope that Patrick will show good performace in his programs!
I just hope he has a great time and can ignore all the backlash from poor judging, not poor skating.
Thanks VarBar for the pictures. Looks like Patrick is having a great time, and certain he has kind of bonded very well with Weaver and Poje judging from the pictures.
(Oh yes Profdeb, Poje is darn hot! )
totoro8673, yes please. Do post your report and pictures here.
I like it when the competition's in Japan because the time difference is only two hours so it means ..I can watch after work!
In the eastern timezone, it means getting up at 3:35 am for the men's short. Not sure I can manage that, but since Patrick is skating last, perhaps it will be closer to 4:30 am? LOL I will try.
Too bad we're so far apart, but maybe we can pretend we're having a pajama party. I'll toast you both as PC skates.
Toasting will be great with a nice cup of capucinno!
Emdee, I'll be thinking of you all while i search for my frother.
Wouldn't it be great if us all live near each other? I can imagine the fun in sharing one's excitement and disappointment..... just like most guys who congregate at pubs to watch those football matches in Australia. I will be thinking of you all too when watching the WTT this evening (my time).Originally Posted by Corianna
I don't think there will be as much pressure in WTT so I hope everyone will have a great skate.
luckiest1, whenever the competitions are held in Europe or Canada, I have to stay up a.m. to watch the competitions. Most times, I just watch the men and go back to bed. Sometimes, I couldn't wake up.
I'll be lucky if I get the laptop turned on, let alone make myself a cup of anything. I'm thinking about taking the laptop to bed with me.
I've actually developed a real sympathy for Plushenko fans through all this!
