I'm not sure that hand stayed only on her thigh, I was so surprised I literally looked away lol.

No , no , no..They're too smart to transgress..it's definitely just the inside of the thigh ( briefly ... but langorously )

If C/L's well known crotch lift can pass muster , this ought to. ( it will raise temperatures , though. )

I had thought maybe they were in transition to a lift, but apparently it is a lift.
It is. There's a rotational lift right afterwards.

Edited to add: Never mind. I thought you'd said that it was a combination lift.

I like that they're indeed focusing on body movements. Pani, remember your modern ballet video? I think they're going for something like that. Also, the entry into the lift reminds me of the serpentine lift from Pink Floyd. And can we add that rotational to our list of trademark lifts? I love how these two suspend time. That is one difficult lift, mainly because the momentum changes too quickly. O can tell they're still getting used to it.

Well, this looks like it ain't no Umbrellas of Cherbourg... although Scott was trying to get away with something even then.

I know! I want to cave, but let's be strong. Now I'm really curious what the non-fans will say... it sounds like V&M are really trying to address all criticism of them by being more modern/voidy/sexy instead of doing a "young love" thing.

    The non fans will say-

Its always a love theme with V&M
Their lifts look the same as always
Their twizzles are not as fast
    Their spins are slow
    Scott's hair
Tessa's weight( I would give almost anything to be that size again!)
    ad nauseum

    But who cares.... not us!

Thanks for posting, Marikat! I quite like what I see, and I'm very glad that the program is indeed modern dance. From what they showed, it looks like they're skating well too.
I understand that they are 3rd in ISU rankings but why on earth would a CANADIAN station mention that they are the current Olympic Champions from over 2 years ago yet not say they are also the World Champions from last season. Seems like a stupid way to put things. Someone didn't do their homework properly cause when he said they are ranked 3rd, he should have explained what it actually meant. If I'm not really a skating fan, I'm thinking they must have come in third last year. Tsk Tsk Tsk. Bad reporting.

New preview article from PJ: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/figureskati...te-canada.html. And yes she actually goes there--we fans are definitely not the only ones reading this thread, I think.

Very true that they should have pointed out they're third in the world rankings but the reigning world champions.

On another note, according to this tweet, there will be more on tonights CTV Windsor news:
