They showed a couple of clips. A few seconds of long program for sure .. that's when they talked about modern Carmen (more contemporary take). During the first clip, the voiceover was talking SD but they showed a mini lift so not sure which program that one's from.

    Thanks!

One last question; in the clip of the FD, what did the choreo look like?

I'm excited to here that the choreography is indeed modern.

Thanks for the report Alixana! Do you by any chance remember any lifts in the clip you saw? On the fb page people are describing a lift where Tessa is upside down and kinda hanging onto Scott; I think we saw it in one of the pics from HP camp. I had thought maybe they were in transition to a lift, but apparently it is a lift.

Guys, it was a clip. Very short, you'll get to see the full thing in a day. Calm down.

Sorry, it was short and I was trying not to pay a lot of attention .. I want to see the whole thing in costume and get the entire effect.

I thought they showed quite a bit. Yes, it has a contemporary bent. I'm looking forward to it!

ETA: I did find it funny that the reporter relied on the ISU standings instead of the fact that V&M are current World champs.

Oh, I'm going to love this, aren't I? I wish they could skate in training clothes.

They're third in the ISU world rankings. The 10/11 season is still being factored into rankings, albeit at only 70%. With their only full competetion being worlds that season, they're still missing quite a few points there.

Thanks for posting, Marikat! I quite like what I see, and I'm very glad that the program is indeed modern dance. From what they showed, it looks like they're skating well too.

I thought about what some are doing and waiting until sat to see the program in full, but I couldn't wait. What little they showed is making me very excited to see the rest!! And btw, the placement of Scott's hand in the beginning of the clip...

Oh boy! This is making my day !

And hallelujah! the practice schedule for Thurs. puts dance at a reasonable hour for the west coast

shayii... There are many who nearly fainted ( including me) when Tessa put her hand on the outside of Scott's thigh in Farrucas..how will they ever cope with Scott's version ...

5 in the morning? I'll be with you Cherub, and catch the program in its full performance mode. More because of being at my job than just sheer abstaining will power. But I'll be looking forward to hearing all your contrary and colourful thoughts.
