R&K is a MUST WATCH if you're looking for voids and something modern. I personally think it's godawful, but YMMV
Also, iggie, here are some higher quality youtube links to vids you already have, in case you want to update them![]()

Hm.... Not sure. I mean this dance show a lot off "broken lines". I think even in modern choreo V-M need to save there beautifull lines.
But maybe they still most unusuall Carmen, no?
K-O had a lot off modern moves in there dance, but had classical interpretation. I think this was a little mistake.
Godawful is the exact term...but there is something interesting here and there, if you can forget all the (massive) cripiness for a moment.
I watched this the other day and am convinced it's the inspiration for K&O's Carmen.

Not at all. Just stumbled across it while looking at videos on youtube. When I saw this I thought it had to be the inspiration for K&O´s program. So many similarities between the two.
So was it a professional program? I think they retired from amateur competition by then right?
I posted a link to R&K above, here it is again: http://www.mediafire.com/?d4bd64yao6j554z It's an "FD" from a professional comp.
One thing I will give credit to R&K for is they used a very classical orchestration and it's very difficult to do that when portraying such a different style of movement.
I agree about the lines but I was thinking more along the lines of Tessa being so OTT dramatic.![]()
maybe who knows, the program is so modern that it ends with Tessa putting on mascara and Scott stabbing Cinquanta![]()
