Hmm, looks like Mishin wasn't entirely happy with Miyamoto's choreo and dumped his program altogether.
Thanks, kittyjake.First we did with the Japanese choreographer Kenji Miyamoto to music Nino Rota "Romeo and Juliet." It was a good program, but it lacked what I call, a triumphant finale
Thank you for your translation.
Ok, now I'm officially worried!Daisuke Takahashi unveiled his practice in Russia. He is being coached by Nikolai Morozov of Russia. Daisuke's aim for Sochi Olympics is to upgrade his performance level. His first competition of this season will be held in October. Morozov advised him to express feelings more abundantly while skating his free program to Opera music.
who wouldn't go mad, listening to Tosca and Marton?
and I have to repeat what I've already said/written about Morozov's choices: time to get some new music! he gave I Pagliacci to Voronov last season, now it's Dai. thank God Dai can skate to anything and still be just brilliant... and at least Dai doesn't skate to POTC or RFAD.

Translation: It was too complex and we can't have anything get in the way of JUMPS JUMPS JUMPS.![]()

What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?
Out of Juniors, I like the SD of Stepanova/Bukin most, in Seniors, IMHO Pushkash/Guerreiro have the best one so far.
That's a very clever strategy IMO because would Plushenko with an empty but clean program lose to skaters with complex choreography but who have falls, I would expect most people to be behind Mishin saying that Plushenko was robbed as transitions are far less noticeable to the eye than falls. And would Plushenko however win under such circumstances, it would only be a most fair result to them. Either way, Plushy would be the rightful winner.![]()
Also, Plushenko's multiple injuries and the fact that he's not training as much as your average skater does mean his stamina is lacking.
So you want to make the program as easy on him as possible.
Well, Mishin has his own ways of thinking of and perceiving a great figure skating, and I think it has worked rather well for Plushy![]()
