Ok,I thought I would do a follow-up to LuLu's Thread. LuLu asked you what your fav. Decade of Figure Skating is...NOW I want you to please tell ME,who your fav. Skaters FROM your fav. Decade are. Please use the following format....For me as I answered for Lu-Lu it's the early 60's,and my fav. Skaters (all from the Crash) are...Laurence Rochon Owen = Freestyle,Maribel Vinson Owen = Freestyle/Pairs,Maribel Yerxa Owen = Freestyle/Pairs,Diane Carol Sherbloom and Larry Pierce = Ice-Dance,Stephanie Westerfeld = Freestyle,ILa Ray Hadley and Ray Hadley = Pairs.
That's all I can think of right now. Anyone else?....GO!!!!

1970s - Janet Lynn, John Curry and Toller Cranston. Tai and Randy. Didn't know much about ice dance, but I found Ludmila Pakhomova captivating. Rodnina with any partner. And Dorothy Hamill wasn't too bad.
-
Amen to pollyanna's choices.
The skaters that followed built on their technical/artistic innovations.

The 1990s, though I have two biases: one, it is when I began watching and two, it is when there was extensive TV coverage and extensive skating happening period.
Favorite skaters: Maria Butyrskaya, Midori Ito, Tonya Harding, Caryn Kadavy (she was a pro), Denise Biellmann (as a pro), Chen Lu, Yuka Sato, Oksana Baiul, Nicole Bobek, Christopher Bowman, Viktor Petrenko, Paul Wylie, Mishkutenok/Dmitriev, Woetzel/Steuer, Torvill/Dean, Usova/Zhulin, Duchesnay/Duchesnay, and many more!

90's
Favorites:
Men: Yagudin, Plushenko, Kulik, Browning, Petrenko, Abt
Ladies: Michelle, Irina, Midori, Kristi, Tara
Pairs: B&S, M&D, G&G, K&D, S&N (G&G more as pros)
Ice dance: K&P, U&Z, K&O
(I don't really consider T&D a 90's team, even though they competed in the 94 Olympics)

The 90s
Pairs: M&D, B&S, G&G (their professional routines), K&D, A&B
Ice Dance: G&P, U&Z, A&P, K&P, K&O
Ladies: Ito, Yamaguchi, Slutskaya, Chen, Markova
Men: Browning, Kulik, Plushenko, Yagudin, Candeloro, Klimkin (although probably more of a '00 skater), Bowman
There are a lot more skaters who skated in the 1990s, but I tend to view them more as 80s skaters or 00 skaters, rather than 90s skaters.

70s all the way.

Dance: didn't like Dance then that much frankly. T&D didn't burst out really until '81
