OH MY!, we have a game again. 17 pts in 4 1/2 minutes. 28 to 23. Come on 49ers, we need another TO.

They must've hit the hooch during the power outage.
Raven hold on for the win. 9ers couldn't hold the Ravens to less than 10 pts in the 2nd half.
All I care is that the purple team won. What was their name again?
(I know very little about football beyond the fact that the Lions are never in the Super Bowl.)
YAY!!! GO RAVENS!!! SUPERBAUGH CHAMPIONS!!!

Well, 49ers almost pull out the come from behind win! Congrats to Ravens!
I think that was the most emotion Joe Flacco has ever shown in his life and even that was still like someone just gave him a scoop of his favorite ice cream.

I had no pony (or bird) in this race, but it was an eventful game that got exciting after the power outage.
My BIL, the lucky dog, went to the game (one of his close friends had CBS VIP tickets on the 50 yard line -- he called my sister this afternoon "just" to tell her he was in a van with a police escort to the game -and a bit of
). He posted 6-7 times on his FB page during the game with various observations and a couple of
snarks.
Congratulations to Baltimore. I could live without the Ray Lewis hoopla, but I much preferred them winning than the team from the most effed up major city in the country![]()
Baltimore! Purple rules.... it's gonna be crazy here!
I was hoping the Ravens would win, they seemed to have the perfect underdog story this year - up against the 'favorites' and still beat them all. Loved how everyone but Cowher counted them out in the pregame picks. But, I had doubts after the lights came back on. Just happy to see Ray Lewis go away.
When's preseason start?![]()
This. I absolutely can't stand the best bone in his phony, murder-covering-up, self-professed prophet body.
Still, I've been a huge fan of Ray RICE since his Rutgers days, so I'm thrilled for him.![]()
Also happy for Jim Caldwell, who gets a little bit of redemption after the Colts debacle.
I'm not surprised the Ravens won. The SB always seems to be won by the team who gets hot late in the season, and they followed the exact path my G-men did last year: Fourth seed, handily beats fifth seed at home, then goes on the road and knocks off the number one and two seeds -- in that order. I was leaning toward 49ers but it seemed inevitable that the Ravens would win.

Exactly. At least he didn't win MVP.This. I absolutely can't stand the best bone in his phony, murder-covering-up, self-professed prophet body.
Yay Ravens!!!! I got scared in the 4th quarter and could barely breathe during that goal line stand. And it seemed like the last minute and a half was about 10 minutes long, lol. Awesome job by the Ravens for hanging on. Congratulations to Joe Flacco on his MVP! And thank you Ray Lewis, for 17 great years!
Victory parade Tuesday!
Yay Ravens! What a game!
I think I will have a snack and take a nap before I eat and go to sleep.
Congrats to most of the Ravens and all of their fans. I like Baltimore and am glad to see a win for the city.

We left the the SB party we were at last night just before the start of the second half. Made the half hour drive home to find that we hadn't missed a thing! We even had time to get the kids into bed before the game started back up again. Not happy about the outcome, but at least the second half was exciting. And at least we didn't have to see Ma and Pa Harbaugh over and over again (I was expecting many shots of them watching the game, but there didn't seem to be too many).
I will join the good riddance to Ray Lewis club. I am so disgusted with the efforts to turn Lewis into some kind of role model. He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated last week, with the headline "Does God Care Who Wins the Superbowl?". How ironic! Of curse he doesn't care, but if he did he'd surely be rooting against Ray Lewis.
Creating drama!
