I'm very much in awe of Brian Boitano's athletic ability at his age. He is a fabulous athlete!

Isn't it interesting to see who is still there after several years. Agnes Z, Kiri Baga, Vanessa Lam, Gretchen Donlan (she won the final).

Is Fumie Suguri still landing triples? She might be the oldest woman. I think Irina Slutskaya still lands her triple loop even though she doesn't compete like Fumie and they are about the same age.

The final of what? Junior Olympics/JI/baby Nationals/whatever it's called now? Did she actually land a triple though? Good for those ladies to still be around and not to burn out.

What about Midori Ito? Did she land any triples in those Adult worlds?

There's also Anastasia Gimazetdinova.. Caryn Kadavy (I never noticed if her jumps in shows are triples or doubles).. can't think of any others right now. If Kadavy does do triples still, she must be the oldest one.

Through a quick search on youtube I could find Denise Biellmann landing a triple as recently as 2002, when she would have been about 39. Not sure if she's done it since then.

Gizmo only looked like she was 44 landing triple jumps in 2010, she was actually only 29 or 30.

I'd Guess that Denise Biellmann was still landing triples in shows at an older age than Fumie or Irina.

How about Yuka Sato, is she still lanidng the triple loop? I guess she'd be around38/39 now?

I agree. He is also a cancer survivor. In the last few years he had hormone therapy and daily radiation for months and still skated every day.

The last time I saw Yuka doing a triple was in December 2008 in The Long and Winding Road. What an amazing 3Loop it was. I love her skating so much !
She was 35 going on 36.

There was a video of Tonya doing a triple salchow when she was 40 I think.

Wow. I'm just in awe. There are great skaters, there are legends, and then there's Don Jackson.

    You mean Kwiatkowski, not Harding?

I completely forgot Biellmann was doing triples recently. I haven't seen her skate since 2001, when the pro comps were still on the air.
