Polish TV isn't showing any of the Paralympics. A state tv employee admitted in private: "The disabled are not very aesthetic. It's hard to show them in an interesting way."
LOT, Polish state airlines, refused to carry all the special equipment of the Polish Paralympic Team. Before any government official intervened (they didn't give a shit), a private carrier agreed to do it for free.
I hate this fcuking country so much...

Yep Sophie Pascoe was awesome. Unfortunately coverage is on pay TV and I couldn't justify getting the sports package when we were only getting highlights in the first place.

Since Sidney 2000 (I think, but definitely Athens), one of our cable sports channel, dedicates a lot of its programming to the paralympics. This year they have an entire channel broadcasting all that it can live and showing tape delays of what they couldn't broadcast after the competition day is over.
And they get a lot of viewers (why else they would be doing this??), which is great.signature schizophrenia

LOL one of the Brit blokes in cycling had a mega hissy fit cos he messed up the start and blamed the gate release. He swore a lot and had to end up apologising to the crowd in the end ... wheeee!
