Fell asleep and missed the endOh well will catch up. By all accounts it's been very well received by the press which is great and I loved what I saw but the parade just takes soooo long
Looking forward to the games getting underway today

Inspiring Mirai Nagasu!
It all went on a bit long to be honest, but it had it's nice moments. I was pretty much zoned out for most of it and was on the phone, here, facebook and listening to music for much of it.

It was a lovely opening ceremony.
I just wish we could actually watch some of the competitions. NBCOlympics, hellooooo?
Fortunately, it looks like ParalympicSportsTV's YouTube channel is posting things rather quickly.![]()
beautiful opening ceremony. The crowd was AWESOME! One of the TSN commentators had goosebumps and got emotional listening to the reception Team GB received--what a special moment. And every team seemed to get a nice ovation. great way to start the games![]()
For those in Canada who have access to CITY-TV, they are scheduled to show a 3-hr version of the opening ceremony this evening (Aug. 31) beginning at 8 p.m. local time. Sorry for the lateness of this post but I just spotted it.
Can't skate but love to watch
