I've now watched W/P SD a few times, and for me, it's just falling flat. I thought they skated well for this point in the season, but the program does absolutely nothing for me at all.

I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!

Totally awesome ice dance photos (and I'm not saying that because they are on my site)

Thanks for the link, Sylvia. I must say, though, I thought the pairs' performances were especially weak. Then again, this is the first Senior B event that I've ever followed. So, perhaps, I expected too much.

Wow Jenna seems to be on the comeback trail.

Anyways for Simanckova trying her first 3lz in competition! Shame she popped the flip because that's usually a great jump for her. Anyways, she is awesome, lots of potential there, so elegant, and her lines are even more lovely and balletic since her growthspurt. I think she has potential to be a medalist at Europeans a few years down the road if she continues to improve, she has the goods, I honestly think she tends to get lowballed for PCS usually. How awesome would it be to have an OES be a contender on the international stage? I think it would be great and looking at those big jumps, I think Monika could be capable of 3-3 (3t-3t, 3s-3t or 3f-3t) in the near future.

There's nothing really special or stand-out about Weaver/Poje's SD. Awful music cuts; they should have stuck with one or two instead of trying to cram the whole "Sound of Music" score in there.

W&P's SD is booorrring. It's not really a bad program per se, but it's just so unmemorable. It's one of those programs you just forget as soon as it's over.

That pretty much sums up exactly how I feel about that SD. There's nothing that sticks with me after I finish watching it.

    OMG W&P SD

The music choice is just dreadful. They are not a junior dance team any more. Who gave them this crap?

Beautiful skaters but I just cringed watching it.

However I did appreciate the transition to blue and orange. Very nice. Smurfs on Ice. All we need is Neil Patrick Harris to make an appearance.

Just in time for the final group of the FD.

Mysilic/Brown -- hip hop something; she struggled a bit with one of the twizzle sections

Weaver/Poje-- League of Extraordinary Dancers music (I think that's what it's called) I don't know what to say about this FD. They skated well, with flow and speed (although speed is hard to judge on the computer screen). For me the music doesn't have enough impact, but hopefully with more outings the skating will make up for it. I think they scored in high 90's for a total around 161.

Aiken/Whidbourne -- Singing in the Rain (ending with the techno version) Blue costumes, he miming an umbrella in pre program choreography; I hate this music so they lost me with the fake umbrella. scored in the 70's for the FD I believe...
