I was chatting over at the EVC site - you guys should register and come and join us later!

Tammy Gambill's 3 (correction) NOVICE ladies finished 1-2-3 overall: Tyler Pierce (landed a big 2A+2T and 4 different triples including 3Lz with a fall on 3F), Amy Lin, and Elizabeth Nguyen. Sarah Feng (who also ice dances with Anthony Ponomarenko) was 4th.

ETA: Junior Ladies FS is next after the ice make.

Junior Ladies SP results from yesterday: http://allyearfsc.com/wp-content/upl...-Ladies-SP.htm
The FS start order today should be based on SP results (3 groups of 6).

Okay the announcer totally mangled the next girls name. Is it Anna something or Hannah something?

Oh and I love the live feed too!

Final group of Jr. Ladies on the ice. I haven't seen Karen Chen or Katia Sphilband this season. I'm looking forward to it.

What is Karen Chen's music? Very angsty violin. Seems a bit much for her.

Yes, it is from Ladies in Lavender.

She's incredible. Such beautiful flow (just watch her footwork and how much distance each turn covers) and that layback.

Katia Shpilband looks lovely...but those boots look HUGE at the end of her delicate legs. It must be hard to point your toes in those things.

Unofficial scores for top 3 (with 3 to go but I think this will be the final top 3):
    Riona Kato (JPN) 144.98
    Karen Chen 142.13
    Katia Shpilband 117.82

I discovered a little trick by accident: you can't normally rewind the live stream, but if you load the video, then pause it -- then later when you come back, you'll be able to watch everything in between, and can skip back and forth at will. Well, I don't know if there is a cap on total data buffered; I tried it for 30 minutes and it worked great.

Vincent Zhao, totally adorable in his top hat after the performance.

And he's still eleven years old. Amazing. I really enjoyed that program. It was jam packed and he handled everything beautifully.

I've been checking the feed out throughout the day- it is wonderful to have a live feed from a club competition.
That - right now- was Vincent Zhao with "Casablanca"? That was good!
