Isn't there any leeway from USFS? I mean, he's a two time national champion and his partnership ended abruptly right before the season started. It's not unthinkable that he could find a good partner and still do Nationals with some kind of buy for members of split teams who would have had a buy based on last year's results, or some such, but having that be a person he finds by the end of this month is unreasonable.

What about Rockne trying ice dancing and team up with Emily Samuleson? That would be a 5inch height difference. They would probably have a better chance for 2018 Olympics. I'm desperate to see Emily back in competition.

Rockne is 2 inches shorter than Joshua Reagan and there is only a 3 inch height difference between Rockne and Ashley so it would be tough.
