Now I know- John Lennon was Voldemort- he turned into ashes and blew away in the wind.

George Michael is a big improvement! Yay! I love the stadium piano.

This ceremony is "let's bring some washed out brittish singers/bands to perform"
    George Michael is sounding

Of course the "wonderful" sound engineers have something to do with this sound but...

Didn't think George Michael sounded to bad compared to some of the others... although he's gone down hill even more since the opening concerts at Wembley... but if only he wouldn't talk!

ETA: OK George, one song was enough Thanks!

They made the point on CTV that there was no dress rehearsal for this - each of the performers/groups had rehearsed elsewhere, including a disused Ford plant in Dagenham. I think they're pulling it off quite well

    More iconic British songs.

Public cruiser Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou performing his most known hit as well as his new single 'White Light' (his 'redemption' song).

'White Light' has just been released and this is the best promotion an artist could dream of, given how many people are watching this. Shame he's miming it.

And George's second is definitely lip-synched.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

While it is nice to trot out the actual artists of old to highlight the history of British music.....organizers have to realize that vocal chords don't last forever. They should just have some of the current superstars (those who can actually sing) cover the classics. Have Adele bust out some Beatles or Stones or something.

I think it's a good thing all the youngsters out there experience real voices one in a while.

He looks like some of the old queens I use to see trawling the bars in Greenwich Village when I use to go out dancing there back in the early 90's
