Is anyone watching "Olympic Gold"? I'm trying to figure out if I am still an hour behind.

The NBC site lists a program called "Olympic Gold" for 90 minutes going on about now. Then they have an hour for news. Then they have prime time listed for the closing ceremonies.

I have figured out that my local station is having news first, then "Olympic Gold", then closing ceremonies - like it's just one big show.

And, as usual, I'm an hour behind. We were an hour behind for "live" coverage of the Vancouver Olympics too. Mountain time can be inconvenient.

There was a great ad for Sochi! Lots of shots of Shen/ Zhou mroe than any other skaters. More than Kim Yu Na. There was Shaun White and Lindsay Vonn. Great ad "from an exotic corner of the worlds largest country" great line!

On the NBC news report of Sochi there were clips of a Lenin statue and historical Stalin footage but also Lindsay Vonn talking about how great the skiiing venue was and how modern the town will be!

The Closing Ceremony is just now starting on my NBC broadcast. They showed a recap of some of the US medalists from 7 PM until about five minutes ago. I cried all over again during the recap of the US women winning the gymnastics team final. Yeah, I'm a sap, LOL
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

My tv had the opening ceremonies listed to start at 8:30 so I missed the first few minutes.
Kevin: He compared Scott to a disposable feminine cleansing product one might use on a summer's eve.
Meagan: Yeah, and the bag it came in. -The Big Bang Theory, performed by the Canadian WTT team and interpreted by Cyn.

Glad NBC didn't cut the second Elbow song. It was used by BBC in the closing montage of their Diamond Jubilee coverage and I thought then it should be in the Olympics.

Just spotted Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney! It's nice to see the gymnasts be able to participate in the closing since they have to miss the opening.

With Sam Mikulak! I am shocked they didn't managed to find Gabby, Jordyn, and Aly. I'm pretty sure all of the girls were there.
