For those who have never seen John Curry, here's a link to his Olympic LP in 1976:

Boitano.
It can't be Yagudin. I voted for Curry since I'm pretty ignorant about him but maybe I should have voted for Boitano. Can't change it now though.
I love them all. But for me, Alexei Yagudin is the weakest in term of skating skills.
The problem is that he could do so much more than the others in term of jumps. Plus, he had such a charisma.
But anyway, I love skating for Skating Skills, so, my vote goes to Yags.
Curry is the weakest of these. I cant believe he outlasted Cousins who is a far superior skater IMO.
Yagudin is still here ?
I give up, throwing all my votes immediately against Yagudin
but I cant get over how the God has been voted off

Yagudin just had good jumps and charisma? really?
Robin Cousins had different opinion:
"Yagudin is such a great all-around exponent of his craft," said 1980 Olympic men's champion Robin Cousins of Great Britain. "His jumps are textbook, his spins are textbook, his footwork is textbook. He is the best-rounded skater out there.

He said that even before Yagudin got his first world title. I remember Boitano said something similar about Yagudin too.
I like Yagudin's skating, his whole body movements were super fluid, could speed up within one stroke, that's a sign of good skating skills. And someone must have great skating skills to have that musicality as he did.
I said Curry
