USA Women in Team Sports - Killing it!

So, exactly how many gold medals did the USA win in women's team sports here in London? It seems like a disproportionally large amount.

Gymnastics
Water Polo
Soccer
Basketball
Beach Volleyball
-
A couple swimming relays
Two sprint relays

I know there was also a team of rowers that won too; does that count? And volleyball came very close; nothing but props to them.

USOC needs to bow down to these incredible girls who have shown the world what can be done when talent and teamwork come together. It seems so much more...inclusive when it's a team win. More people get to share in the success, and it makes us at home feel like "one of them". Imagine all the little girls who now dream of being on a team like those, whether it be in swimming, gymnastics, basketball, athletics, water polo....the list goes on.

Someone said (early this morning) that at that point 27 of the gold medals were for US women. Nice. I'd like to know the numbers for silver and bronze as well.
