Chan will be given the title in 2013.
    Plushenko will win 2014 olympics.
Hanyu will win silver at both.

I voted Hanyu, Takahashi, or Fernandez.

I don't see any of the US skaters in medal contention.

I'm not confident Plushenko's knees will hold up. Lysacek- karma will finally catch up and he'll be out. Abbott, one of my favorite skaters ever- but, not a competitor, sadly.

    Chan will probably win.

I hope Plushenko wins a medal in his home country.

I would love to see Takahashi win an Olympic medal again- even gold, but I don't see anyone other than Chan winning the OGM. It's sort of like Hamilton in 1984 or Plushenko in 2006.

Evgeni Plushenko, the Tsar and Quad King rules forever on Russian soil.

    Sochi 2014
    1 Plushenko
    2 Gashinksky
3 Any skater with links to Russia.

Enemy no. 1 Lysacek who took the Tsar’s gold in 2010!
Enemy no. 2 Chan if he wins gold in London!

That's hilarious! But Rogozine has potential - world junior champ! Maybe not so soon though! Majorov needs to get his SP's in order!

I voted for Takahashi, Hanyu, and Gaschinski. I would like Plushenko to medal, if not to win. But I worry about his injury, so I voted for Gaschinski.

Another interesting thing to wonder is what will Chan's margin of victory be on the silver medalist. I guess that depends how he skates. If he falls alot will probably be 20 points, if he skates clean probably 40 or more.

Do you think that Chan will aim to win the WC title in spite of the Canadian Olympics curse?

I know! It's like the judges don't even know that the name of the sport is figure jumping!
I'm off to the Patrick Chan threads...where you can watch a molehill become a mountain in seconds!!!

Clean skates would definitely mean an enormous victory for Chan. He was much closer to Takahashi than anyone else would have been with no 3A in a FS and Ur quad at the WTT.

Apparently, on occasion, it's figure falling.

I voted for Takahashi and Hanyu, but I'd give my right arm to see Kozuka on either podium!

I don't think Chan is going to win Sochi unless he skates cleanly. There's too many people watching the event.

Sorry I disagree strongly with this the poll, why is it given Chan is going to win 2013WC or 2014 Olympics? Olympics is full of unpredictable results where the fav hardly won. Think of Kurt, twice, Brian Orser - reigning WC at the time etc.

In any case I vote for Chan... because I have a feeling Hanyu (or even Plushy) is going cause a major upset!! Lalalala ~~~ (as long as his current team don't continue to sabotage him like his latest SP)

    Let's just wait and see!
