And congrats to the French women for a silver on their first trip to the Os.
Your program sucks and your partner just fell: lay down and play dead or think Feck this and do a Th3A at the end of the program: Aliona Savchenko: Definition of a competitor

I think Boudia qualified 18th in Prelims on Friday, was 3rd in the Semis Sat morning, and then got the gold in the final. Haven't seen it. I do not know if scores carry over, guessing not?

Also won bronze in synchronized platform in London, after trying one O cycle previously.

Lol. US basketball women's interview "when were you most challenged in the tournament?" Response: " I don't mean any disrespect but we knew if we played our best we'd be okay"

The French women look just as happy as USA, good on them for focusing on the accomplishedment and not the loss

Irish people should not commentate on basketball. Ever.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

I love college basketball and watch my team religiously but at the Olympics the games are often so lopsided that I switch to something else. Congrats to them and congrats to France (first time in??? amazing result.) One day someone is going to surprise the team and then I am going to be glued to the telly watching their games.

    Nope.

It was an impressive final. All the 10m men really brought up their level of competition.

There's video of the Korean rider in the modern pentathlon being thrown by his horse.

Michael Johnson just called male US sprinting team's performance at these Olympics "horrible" on the BBC.

Comparatively speaking, it kind of was.

But it's not their fault they're competing against Bolt and company. And their 400m runners have been plagued by injury. They had some positives: they broke the US record in the 4x100m relay and didn't drop the baton. That's progress.

I have to agree. This team was a rare miss for the US in track. They won the trials and earned their spots but injuries just didn't make them as competitive as past teams with the runners from other countries.

Michael Johnson is spot on. When was the last time a US men's sprint teams shut out of a Gold medal in the sprint races including the relays?

BBC did an X Factor type sob story on boxer Luke Campbell saying his mother and little sister died six years ago. At the end of the programme they had to issue a correction saying his mother was alive and watching TV at home.
