Random question: did any person/team ever achieve getting 18 6.0s for one program?

FYI, I'm watching a Math video on YouTube that's about perfect games and perfect scores, and one of the examples they egregiously left out was figure skating (BOOOO! ). So it got me wondering...has any person or team ever gotten the full 18 6.0s for one program? Did Jayne and Chris ever succeed in doing this? Even once?

I don't think so. In 1984, Bolero got 6.0 from all nine judges for artistic impression at both the Olympics and Worlds, but they had some technical marks of 5.9 (6 at the Olympics and 5 at Worlds). You can see the marks from worlds at the end of this video.

Before the skate, the announcers talk about possibly making history with 18 sixes, so I think it must mean no one had done it before 1984.

No, I don't think so. I know Torvill and Dean got 12 6.0s once, and at the 2003 Russian Nationals Plushenko scored 11 (9 artistic and 2 technical), but I don't think anyone has ever managed the full 18.

I'm now noticing that if this scenario of 18 6.0s ever did happen, it more than likely had to have occurred in Ice Dance, and in a score-inflation-happy competition like a National Championship.

T&D were the only ones that came close to get heaps of 6.0s. But I think skaters like Elvis Stojko and Midori Ito might have gotten 6.0s for technical.
What the hell is a Ninja Twizzle? Does it have anything to do with hard shelled aquatic life forms that live in the sewer?

Ito got multiple 6.0s for technical merit at least three different competitions (1989 Worlds, 1989 NHK Trophy, and 1990 Worlds).

T&D got all 6's at the British Championships for the Rhumba CD, according to the broadcast of the 1984 Olympic CD's.

There was probably never anyone better at CDs than T&D.

    ITA.

If you were close enough to see their tracings on the ice, they could repeat an entire pattern closer than many singles' skaters could repeat a school figure.
