They did, they did. My grandparents spoke Yiddish when they didn't want me to understand. It worked.

Thanks, what a great word. Which syllable is accented?

I feel like I'm in a dream. But it can't be a dream because there are no boy dancers!

Absolutely. It's an awesome word. Will try to remember and use once the season starts.

I guess the closet thing in English with the same meaning is "gaudy". I like the Yiddish word better! Let's get it in Webster's next year.

IceAlisa, did you see my post about the DVF dress? It may be perfect for you! Shorter than pictured and would look much better on your younger body

Yes, thanks cruisin! It's beautiful but I have so many dresses that there is no excuse for buying this one.

    The first one. UNgahpatchka.

My daughter learned that word early...In our house it was used as follows:

"That's too ungahpatchka to wear around here. I'll save it for when we go to Margate (Jersey shore.)"

Most infamously used for the sequined tank top that ended up with Southpaw.

Well, unless you find a small, don't bother. As I said, the large was too big on me everywhere but the boobs.

Which reminds me of a dire complaint. I wanted to get another low-cut bra and ordered one on sale from Bare Necessities. PRkid pointed out it was actually too small in the cups, they were overflowing. So at her insistence I ordered another one, from my go-to company Wacoal this time, in a 36DDD.

    It fits perfectly.

and sorry for double-post but I just got an email from Anthropologie -- now they have petites!

Something like this http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/...e/23581499.jsp would look adorable on both mlp and IA.

NAh, Wacoal runs a bit smaller in the cup. And I wear a 32DD. I look smaller than a DD, because my rib cage is so small. But, I have trenches in my shoulders.

PRLady, thanks for the Yiddish lesson and the Anthro link. I could certainly use a cropped jacket, hopefully in black or navy. I am into power colors again now that summer is almost over (or never really arrived here).

I see you as more of an Anthro type than mlp, although you're about the same size and age. You're more whimsical than she is, I think if someone tried to put "whimsical" on her she would shoot it.

And yes, I know Wacoal runs small because my 36DD Olgas and Balis are too big or fit properly.

Jumped on L&T this morning to see the Project Runway stuff, specifically Gordana's, Mondo's and Korto's. I thought I'd prefer Mondo's, but I didn't like the back. I ordered Korto's with a double dip L&T promotion code that will be displayed if you have an L&T account. Fingers crossed that it fits.

I'd order Korto's dress, if I thought it would fit me.
I'm small on top and slightly larger on the bottom.
    Dresses usually don't flatter me.

That one looks as though it would be difficult to alter.
    Hoping it fits you, Aceon6!

It seems that the waistline is high enough, so I'm taking a chance. I'm smaller on top, too, but not that far off a straight size.

I like Mondo' dress, but the hem is weird. It could be a bit longer, and it isn't even.

Looks like the first run of the PR collection is sold out in many sizes. The website now says that they can't guarantee shipping in 5 days. One of my co-workers was ordering for the same party I'm going to. Luckily, she chose Gordana's.

Please report on the dress after you receive it. Aceon6.
I'm particularly interested in the fit and workmanship.
