With Son messing up, I am thinking Garayeva is going to get the bronze.

It looks like the judges are try to put Garayeva in striking distance going in to ribbon

Yes, but I think the judges lowballed her on clubs intentionally.

I remember an interview with Julie Zetlin where she talked about politics being a known element of the sport and that she had to hope that they were on her side. They weren't. She started sliding quite a bit in the standings after that.
Haha, joke of the day, Julie is lucky to be at the olympics, she is really not on par with anyone in teh final group. She would have required a lot of politiking to reach the final. Please watch her an other before complaining.

There was no complaining, just stating what she said in reference to the politics of the sport, maybe you should read more carefully. In no way do I think Zetlin deserves to be in the final. In fact, I think Rebecca Sereda would have performed better here, but also not enough to reach the final. The fact of the matter is that Zetlin did make the all around final at the 2010 Worlds and then dropped significantly at both the 2011 Worlds and the London Test event.

The best thing that came out of the americas was Alexandra Orlando. And she reached Beijing absolutely out of shape.

4C wise, now we have Son and the chinese girl.

The rest manage to be worst than Weber...

Kanaeva is going clean so far, but they are definetively lowballing Dimitrieva today, just to be on the safe side...

Ribbon is going to be interesting. Only .5 separating 3rd from 5th at the moment.

She was injured, please watch her performances. Her performances have gone downhill since 2010 ( even 2010 i would not call her performance spectacular). Shewas lucky since even in 2011 (Qualifying event on the basis on which she received the continental quota) she made several big mistake, many felt teh mexican athletes should have finished higher. Her test event performance was even worse. this got to the point that she lost even her Olympic trials.
