I find it odd too. Let's see who gets to benefit for lowballing Dmitrieva.

well at least if she medals here she will be instant celebrity in Korea
I want to see how Yuna will react to this or sue her/IB sports for using her name

A strip show like routine from Garayeva. lol

The Korean lady commentator is saying "Ah she is so pretty, she is so flexible." to just about all the girls.

It sounds like saying "She is so fat and ugly, and moves like a wooden stick." to ones she is keeping her mouth shut.

The moment I think "Boy this girl is fun to watch" for Maksymenko, she makes a dreadful mistake.

Irina Viner, Russia's main coach. She basically runs the sport.
Husband is a big shot at Gazprom, so money runs afloat.

Some time ago, other countries were more active on trying to complain and fight this situation, now they seem to think "if you can't beat her..."
Ukrainians are her favourite meal, because of Albena Derugina, Ukraine's main coach (another type like Viner, she "ran" the 1996 competition, where she favoured one Ukrainian over the other quite clearly, and then the FIG got tired of her). They are not besties.

The usual agreement seems to be the 2 top russians, the top belorussian, ukraine on the side.
On Beijing Viner made the mistake of taking Kapranova, that way, Bessonova managed to sneak in a medal despite the underscoring.

    It's quite

Why do they have this annoying beep 10 seconds before they are supposed to stop? There are other ways to measure if the exercise is too long and it is annoying during the music.

I liked the second Russian Daria best so far.
