    Shame about who won it.

Hooray for Caroline Buchanan, fastest run through in the seeding run for women's BMX!

That crash by the rider before her was though.

Sad for Edwina Tops-Alexander and Isty Bitsy.

    Congrats La Suisse!

So Cian O'Connor who wasn't originally selected to represent Ireland who only got into the final because two horses were withdrawn now gets a medal!

during jump off how do they decide which rider goes first?

it's nice that both get a medal, not like deciding 3rd vs 4th

Can't wrap my head around the fact that BMX is an olympic sport and roller skating isn't.

what's scott brash's accent? i quite like it. i like BMX too. i can't imagine many bikes on the course at the same time... collisions galore?

thank you allezfred. i was just thinking the irish rider could have had a chance to set the pace if he'd gone first.

BMX? Really? I've not been paying as much attention as some these Olympics but, BMX is really an Olympic sport? My ignorance knows no bounds...

I think it is new? Ish? Maybe 2008 was the first year? Obviously I don't know much either.

Since 2008. It's the IOC trying to prove they are down with the kids.
