High bar on. Leyva first. Then Zou Kai. They are rapidly going through the guys; no dramatic waiting for the score

Yes--that was as well. (vault, that is)

Over all, I enjoyed the men's EF better than the women, although there were shining moments in the women's. I thought the women's team and AA went better than the men's

Ugh, no kidding. They showed six gymnasts in like 20 min. Why don't we get that every time?

NBC's high bar coverage was so efficient! 6 out of 8 guys shown in such a short time. It was almost too fast - we didn't have time to absorb what we'd just seen.
    Creating drama!

I know people have bitched more about gym this Olys, but overall, I've found it waaay more watchable than Beijing, Athens, or Sydney (coverage aside)

And not just Jordyn, though her turnaround from "crushing disappointment" to supportive truly embodies the Olympic spirit, but I've found the general camraderie between team mates and competitors just really worthy. The thumbs up between Raisman and Musty, the hugs, the screaming for each other. The gymnasts who lined up to hug Maroney after she missed--I think all of them at least tried--and all the ones who stood up for the South Korean male vaulter.

Gym this time around felt like a true team event, and I mean that for all the teams. Maybe not China. Sui looked like she would happily shove Deng off of something, but that just adds to her charm.

Special congrats to Russia for going from medal-less in Beijing to having the most decorated and most fabulous gymnast of them all. I hope the media is kind to them and focuses on nothing-to-silver and the greatness that is Musty. I hope they sit Komova down and show her Gabby's beam routine over and over--she fell...and came back and stuck her dismount. I hope they show her how she fought after her vault on AA.

Aly needs a public speaking coach. Clearly, no one gave expected her to do this well and arrange training. This interview is dreadful.
