The blue tape is supposed to keep the muscles properly in place to keep them from getting sore. They did a mini-feature on it on one of the other channels.

tape is the new tensor =) the physios use it a lot - the girls at my gym have pink tape - how great is that!!! i know that my son had a minor back injury and they taped it to add some stability while it healed- that tape sure is sticky too- it stayed on even with showers for days!!! Wait. There are OTHER Americans? And playing for the gold medal too? This is a great story, and it has Americans, and where the hell was NBC for these two? Were they not expected to do well? I knew there were two men's team; I just assumed there was only one female team.
