    Although she'd never beat Peggy in competition, I still think Gracie Gold would benefit a lot from training figures.

    You're absolutely right. Why, by that logic, Sonja Henie is a total nothing compared to today's juniors -- that broad didn't even do a 2Axel! The shame! And yanking her skate over her head? Fuhgettabouddit! Who cares that she's the only singles lady skater to win 3 Olympic Gold Medals and 10 World titles, and is considered by most other people to be one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, lady skater in the history of the sport. Doesn't matter, because she didn't have a time machine to travel to post-2004 to prove herself under COP, because *that's* what really matters! Yeah, Sonja's such a loser.

    She was great during her time, but she'd be nothing today. Her accomplishments are fantastic, however she obviously lacks the skill to compete in today's skating.
