I still think we need a nail biting graemlin. Which is what I'll be doing for beam and floor. So many gymnasts to root for!

ETA: is it that cold in the gym? The Chinese gymnasts are always wearing these bubble down (?!) jackets.

Glad you made a new thread! Otherwise we were going to need one by the end of the first Gymnast on PBars.

And first gymnast is off the bars. Hopefully the rest of the final goes better. I'd like to see nice, hit routines. Not asking for too much, am I?

I never noticed before how pretty Nguyen is. Does anyone know what his ethnic background is? The name is not very German to say the least. It sounds Japanese, non?

    The name is Vietnamese.
To think that fun is simple fun, while earnest things are earnest, proves all too plain that neither one thou truthfully discernest.

His mother is German; father is Vietnamese; and yes, he is extremely beautiful.

I don't follow Men's Gymnastics at all, so I'd never heard of Nguyen before this past week. That being said, I noticed his hawtness factor long before his gymnastic skills

Me neither. Therefore my only contributions to the events are the respective hotness factors of the men.

Whoa, good landing fight for Greek dude. Thought he'd wipe out, but he managed to save it with a big step and much wind milling.
