Agree with both comments. He seemed quite serene in his reflections and mature, and he definitely seemed like a man who is fully satisfied with ending one chapter of his life and starting the next.

I missed all BUT the medalists on FX as they went first. I thought that was OK since even abridged coverage would show them.
If NBC completely chacks it...just wow. And I thought AA was a low.

I'm pretty sure for gymnastics they commentate live and it's just edited for the broadcast as needed.
Oh and of course they'd show the 0.000 vault and subsequent injury Staying classy, NBC.

During the qualifying one of them mentioned not making up the score...and the other said "but we havent seen that yet". That couldn't be done live. And Why would they put that in if it was editted later?
Also, poor Canadian girl.

I suspected McKayla did that vault bigger and better than any man, but that comparison with Uchimura's 2.5Y was incredible. The one and only thing worth praising about NBC's gym coverage was that incredible graphic!
