Last week has been crazy, finally today I'm able to sit down, chat on FSU and watch for real, I've been running back and forth. Finally he Olympic feelin us really hitting me! Sooooo happy for Izbaza and Murray winning gold, yay!

Our Norweigans aren't exactly rocking London, but I don't care, our silver medal in fencing made my Olympics. Bartosz rocks! And Sweden and Denmark are doing really well. I'm ready for the rest!

Already 2 golds, 2 silvers and a bronze. We have another medal in the tennis - not sure if it is gold or silver until Laura and Andy play. Another cycling medal is also possible so lets keep our fingers crossed!!

I love Clare Balding. She just told us that all Ben Ainslie's boats are called Rita.

Watching the BBC video for Synchro. Who is the commentator? I like her. Very informative.

Whee! Finally a Cycling gold not for GB! Seriously, people are complaining about table tennis being non-competitive? Track cycling seems to be all about throwing money at an underdeveloped sport.

Laura and Andy won a silver in the mixed doubles - not bad at all considering the winners are the top seeds. And Ed Clancy won a bronze in that weird cycling event called the omnium

Can you explain what you mean by 'underdeveloped'?

It's nice for the homecrowd, but I'm really glad that Vika has a gold! Also, nice for Max Mirnyi to win at age 35. Besides, Vika/Max have played together outside the Olympics and have been very successful, so it's nice to see them repeat it here.

Armenia wins another medal - silver in wrestling. Gold goes to Russia. First Russian gold at these Games in the sport other than judo.

US vs Turkey women's volleyball gave me heart palpations. Excellent game. Destinee Hooker is a I don't think I can stand another set.

Yes, Russia's gold tally is pretty terrible, comparatively speaking. They're favored in synchronized swimming and rhythmic gymnastics (and can possibly win gold in artistic gymnastics) but I truly have no clue what else they'd win in.
