    Well, I don't think it's impossible - upthread it was said that 1 second in the 800m is 10 points, so Zelinka would need to beat Yosypenko by 20 seconds and stay ahead of everyone else or beat Skujyte by 28 seconds and have one person (probably Chernova) stay ahead of her. Zelinka's SB is about 3 min faster than everyone ahead over her except Chernova and Ennis (who is not not going to be caught) and her PB about 2 min faster. So if she has a good race, the others will need massive PBs/SBs to stay ahead of her.

    Yay Culson! Thank goodness no disaster prior to the finals. I think I have too many bad memories with hurdles after Perdita Felicien.

    If he can't win, it'd be cool for the Dominican to take it, and of course awesome for the home crowd if Green does (although the Brits have had a lot to celebrate already). So basically I'm anyone but Angelo Taylor considering he already has two golds.
