Those yellow shoes are doing strange things to my eyes when they are running.

Wheeeee Jessica, 12.54!!! That's freakin' CRAZY! She would probably win over the 100m hurdle specialists!

Loved Katarina Johnson-Thompson reaction to the crowd when she was announced - it looked as if she was saying 'oh wow' when the cheer went rouind the stadium. But then got herself composed and ran a PB in her heat. She is definitely a face for the future!!

Ennis blew my freaking MIND. My poor neighbours....

She bypassed 12.6's and ran a time that would have won the individual 100m hurdles in BEIJING!

Excellent for Zelinka (12.65 - nice to see her back up the Canadian nationals time) and Fountain too

Very nervous for Jess in the high jump, I feel like all of the muscle she has put on which helps her throws is detrimental to he high jump. She HAS to get at least 1'86, if she gets 1'89 I think that gold would get ever closer. This is where she could lose the medal just as easily as in the long jump TBH.

Culson looked epic in the 400m hurdles as.

Lebedeva, Smith and Aldama all qualify for the triple jump final, is it 2003 again??? Rypakova/Iburguen/Salduaha will have to watch out for the oldies.

Little bit concerned that the track gets so wet after what was essentially a short shower.

TBO (The Big 'O') is so frustrating. Horrendous start, pushes through the final 100m in order to win and thus get a quality lane for semis.

Then what does she do? stops running 5 metres before the line and gets second. She'd have been better off jogging the straight if you're gonna settle for second??? She is brainless sometimes.

VERY possible that she has just given up her title with that stupidity, never underestimate the importance of a lane draw in a 3 heat semi. Furthermore, she'll need to win her semi to get a top lane in the final.

Seriously - you just want shake her don't you - she should have won that easily and had a good lane draw for the semi - now she has to work a bit harder in her own semi Well at least she did qualify.

It's still good for Jess, but she was so close to 1'89 on two occasions.

Still, when she did her PB in Gotzis, she did 12'81 and 1'85, she has just gone 12'54 and 1'86, so I guess it;s not bad

Would KILL for a 15m shot.

Some additional notes on this morning:

    Culson looked incredible this morning.

Monthso/Sanya and McCrory looked easy too.

The Russians with their insanely fast times at their national championships, well, not looking like they have sub 50 in them :/

I'm eager to see if Storl or Majewski can take the gold in the shit or will it be a North American.

Can I just say, MOST AMAZING CROWD EVER. I have never ever seen a stadium crowd like that ever, and for a MORNING SESSION! Incredible stuff. Congrats to the capacity crowd

She ran first 300 had 40 meters lead then slowed down, almost walked to the finish i don't think she struggled at all.
