I *knew* healthwise things had been going too well so far these Olympics and sure enough, today was the day when I got up, I *knew* I had to go back to bed and was also flirting w/a fever. Which means I slept through the majority of the day.
However, I did see the Q rounds of Men's Trampoline and it was looking so good for Jason too. Then I drifted off at the start of the Finals, but Rod and Kyle's reaction to Jason's fall woke me up. What a shame and just feel awful for Jason. Could have sworn they said some of the athletes were having problems figuring out the timing on certain things because the Trampolines were still pretty dead and there needed to be more bouncing on them to get them more springy.
If I did hear that right, I don't even want to know just how much higher they could go if that's the case.
Oh, go ahead and giggle Milanessa. I was giggling a bit over Dong Dong's name too.
You heard right. Kyle and Rod were talking about how the women were hoping the men would break them in a little bit more for them because they are so stiff.
So fun to see peeps bounce up and down on the tramp.
Also fun to watch the NBC shot of their cameraman trying to follow the action, up and down, up and down!
When you are up to your arse in alligators it is difficult to remember you were only meant to be draining the swamp.
Rosy MacLennan gold for Canada!! Whee!
“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” William Shakespeare
Does that move us up on the eville Amerikan table or only Fred's????
Wheeeee for gold! Olympic Champion for Rosie MacLennan!
On a side note though... how in the hell did Karen Cockburn get bumped from the podium? Henna We fell right at the end on her last skill and had massive form break before that... Just have to find solace in the fact that Karen has three Olympic Medals.
I don´t know a lot about trampoline but her routine was great!
So happy for Rosie!!!
Karen lost out on the flight time. 0.3 right there. If Henna had missed on her 9th skill or even her 10th instead of the dismount, it would have done it but she didn't lost any of her difficulty so her only loss was on the execution.
Wheee! Showing trampoline here and it's a girl from Louisiana!!! And she's wearing a proper FLAG uniform.

Thank Kyle Shewfelt for the explaination too because he was the one who explained it.
FINALLY!!! GOLD for Canada and Congratulations Rosie!!
BTW...Has there been any more perfect Medal Performance matched up w/the lyrics about flying in CTV's Believe song?
I have no computer in the Rec Room and I was watching *this* Medal Ceremony in HD!! So I only had Kyle to go by, but good to know he was right, but he's proven himself to be excellent so far these Games, so...
Rod was saying our First Gold in Beijing came on Day 8 w/Carol Huyh's Gold Medal and here we are in London and our First Gold? Day 8.
Little eerie that.
