    The rude Euros are all on holiday apparently, I was in a queue today in Barcelona discussing Olympic results with the people standing behind me and the British girl in front of us turned around to inform us sternly that we had the British medal count wrong and we needed to stop trying to take medals away from team GB.

    Half time in the Sochi ice show and it's such a void I literally don't know where to begin.

    Suffice to say we've had sluttiness, gambling, infidelity, brawling, drama, death and suicide attempts. It's not been a typical ice show.

    Back home from ice show. Twas tres voidy. They even managed to make it rain indoors. Navka wasn't pleased and she didn't smile once during the finale. That's how you do DIVAH!

    Today started with a text from Mella . On our way to meet her we got into the lift on our floor when a couple appeared so we held the door open. They were rather large particularly the man. The minute they got in an announcement was made that the max weight in the lift had been exceeded. It was awkward.

    Anyway met Mella and had a lovely chat. Saw my sister afterwards and then went to see Tower Bridge and the rings. Now in Stratford at the Olympic Park. Roll on tonight!

    I can confirm that the Canadian uniform is as hideous live as it was on tv.
