Here's a photo of the men's AA medalists.![]()
Okay?? I am stunned that NBC failed even at their specialty, i.e., showing how the U.S. competitors fought their way back for a medal! Instead we get Ryan Seacrest, aka the douchebag of US television, in place of two or three more routines that might have shown how close and impressive Leyva's medal actually was!! And only *one* routine from the impressive come-from-behind silver medalist from Germany!! Along with one Ukrainian routine and not a single routine from Great Britain!![]()
I may, actually, not watch women's all-around on NBC ...
They better show Danell's upcoming late night interview early in that coverage because I really need to sleep tonight.![]()
Congrats to the medalists even though the coverage was craptastic tonight.![]()
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Who was that German guy and how come he only had to do a floor exercise to win a medal when our poor American hero had to do all the events except rings?
Aly Raisman gets no love at all from NBC--one quick flash of her and lots of Gabby. Bob Costas made her sit in the back row during the team interview. Jordyn Weiber gets every closeup at every moment.
What will NBC do if she wins AA?![]()

Thankfully, unlike today, I'll be able to watch NBC's live feed for the Women's AA tomorrow. I haven't had major problems with the feed (except when I tried to have something like 5 feeds going at the same time), and Shannon and Friend's commentary is not bad, so I am actually quite pleased with NBC's live online coverage.
Creating drama!
Like I told Belle--if she thinks this is bad, just wait until they get through "showing" the AA and EF coming up! They have only begun to fail!

And I thought of TG--we had the emergency broadcast BEEEPPP test right before they came back for the medal ceremony for the women's relay race. I thought we might miss it, but got done with the test in time.
As we watched it, Mom said "those jackets aren't getting any better with time"

Wow I feel sorry for anyone whose only access to coverage is NBC. Makes me extra thankful that I live in Canada!
I loved how Tim compared Nguyens two steps on the floor to Leyvas's one step on the bar. It's called the All Around not the (last event in the competition determines everything)
I am hearing Terry on NBC!!!!![]()
Levya interview is finally on. At 12:50 AM.
