Thanks heavens for Expat Shield/BBC coverage. The live coverage of the men's AA this morning was great!
This morning, I think we only saw the dog once or twice. Ryan Lochte swimming to London? Oh lordy--I never need to see that one again.ever. Mom (ever trying to find a positive spin) finally said "well, at least the underwater photography is really fabulous"

I guess NBC figures le clos's hotness scores more ratings than Uchimara's hairy pitts

We're going to get totally ripped off of the men's AA coverage. I usually like swimming but tonight I feel like it's taken over the entire program. I want to see the guys...even just a few of them!
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Finally going back to the AA. Danell vault.

I keep thinking that the darker center part of Danell's tank top's neckline is sweat and not just part of the design.

    Now Uchimura on PB.

Uchimura was not "by himself" in his group. Purvis, Junior, Nguyen, etc...

Danell just wiped his mouth at dinner with the blue towel

Danell towel fluff now...Yin is dressed like a cast member of Miami Vice

I don't know what NBC has against the rings but iirc they've skipped them all 3 nights of mens competition so far.

OMG, I like Leyva, but I do not want to see a fluff piece on him right now.

I love Danell but even I think this is massive overkill for NBC to show yet another fluff piece instead of the actual gymnastics.
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”

Are you kidding me? We had such a close chase for silver and bronze men's gymnastics and NBC is showing *fluff with Ryan Seacrest* instead of routines for the other guys??

if you're tired of yin, adding seacrest to the mix is not helping

It's probably paining NBC to even show men's gymnastics at all...

How many Routines could we fit into this stupid Seacrest fluff piece?
    It's 11:30 I don't have patience for this!!!

Actually they should create a whole late night show for the fluff!

And tonight John Orosco seems to have received the NBC penalty that makes gymnasts suddenly disappear in the middle of the event... which of course means that we're down to 2 gymnasts competing.

Never again will I be in the States during the Olympics. I may have to request vacation a year in advance but it'll be worth it.

Maybe they're going overtime but seriously, past midnight on tape delay is unacceptable when most have work next day. Although they're on rotation five so probably not.
