The badminton format is ridiculous so their fed is to blame. Totally weird group stages with two out of three teams advancing etc. Just cut the number of participants in half and start with a proper knock-out round.

Does anyone here understand Judo as a spectator sport? No flipping idea but yay a Brit just took out a Canadian

What's even more hilarious is that the immediately following game (with the same Chinese team) was played for real, and the contrast of it was just
I agree that having the already-qualified teams play unnecessary matches was dumb, but man, the poor spectators having to see this farce! What an embarrassment for the sport!
