If that dismount by Uchimura was credited so too should Belyavski's be credited. LOL

Gymnasts need to hit a handstand position during the dismount from PH in order to receive credit for the dismount. Uchi didn't receive credit for it and they protested.

To be fair Uchimura's dismount deserves credit doesn't it - it was just really badly done...?

    Still, this is awful

From what we've heard explained they were checking to dsee if Uchimura got into a handstand on his dismount from hte pommels and I guess they decided he did so his technical score went up? that's what i understood.

At least GB still gets a medal, but Ukraine???

If the USA would not have fall or had get 2 points more, they would have tied Japan for the silver...

    Just two points, poor guys

This is complete and utter B/S. I really hope Ukraine files a protest. Uchimura didn't get up into handstand, there is no fecking way he got straight up into it, he was off by several degrees.

Poor Ukraine, is there anything they can do?

Uchimura didn't deserve credit for doing a handstand imo.

I love him, think he's the best, but that was bullshit.

Exactly. And I suspect that's why the process for protesting scores in skating under CoP is very strict. Pretty much everything is considered a 'field of play' decision and can't be changed.

I predict more protests during this Olys, and in the future. Sigh.

And it sure didn't look like a handstand to me, but what do I know...
