They pulled up a curtain around one of the horses, which is never a good sign. Can't tell you which horse as I had just tuned in.

    Oh, no

Hoy rode well, although I thought he was off at the downhill. Rutherglen was just like, "What are you doing on my neck, dopey?"

Ditto. And Telma was our best chance I think.

I am pleasantly surprised at the extent of equestrian coverage on NBC Sports Channel.

Mexico wins the silver medal at synchro 10m platform, the ´gold´ for the rest of the world since the chinese are in other world it seems!!

Very very proud as we get our first medal of the Games in an event where the boys were favourites and they delivered when it counted!!

    I´m very happy

USA gets bronze, another medal for them, congratulations! British guys in 4th

The Opals just lost to France in the women's basketball.

Is it wrong that I am a teeny bit glad about that? The Opals are crazy arrogant.

Wheeeeeeeee cross-country part of eventing! Probably the most interesting sport in the games, or at least one of them!

Zara Phillips That was fab! The whole British team rocked the cross-country really! It was amazing listening to the crowd roaring!

I remember Mexican men diving from cliffs on the Wide World of Sports ages ago. For me it was scary to watch. Diving seems to be in the blood. Great job!!!

Can someone explain what happed in epee? The Korean fencer is refusing to leave the piste due to the protest and is just sitting and crying.

ETA: I just read an article that explained it. How could they have three starts of the clock ending in simultaneous touches without a single second running off the clock? And then the German won it on the fourth touch. That sounds like a pretty good basis for a protest.

Wait . . . anyone familiar with fencing rules? They just announced that for the protest to be considered, the Korean officials had to submit a sum of money.

At least Shin has stopped crying. She can't leave the piste because that would be seen as admitting the call was correct.
