    NBC Broadcast - 2012 Olympics - Day 3 (Mon, July 30)

    No clever title...oh well.

Really enjoying the men's platform synchro. Rooting for Tom and the US boys!!!

ETA: Let's try to make this thread spoiler free. Many of us had to work today and will have to suffer through this taped broadcast!!!

I'm assuming this thread is spoiler free? Just checking since I couldn't watch the live feed today... I had to go to that pesky thing called work

That Tom Daley is a cutie

I guess we're not the only ones who aren't entirely pleased with NBC:

Work is majorly interfering with my Olympic watching.

Enjoying the diving right now. Very easy on the eyes.

So I guess the Mexican divers just did the diving equivalent of a quad.

I know! I recently lost my full-time job, but I'm still working part-time. Is it bad a *tiny* part of me is ok with that, simply because it means I get to stay up all night watching the olympics?

If we're spoiler free, does that mean we're full of preservatives?

I've never understood synchro diving. But I love looking for splashes.

It's so odd that the Mexican team sucked at the two easiest dives and then do great when they dive that 4 1/2 tuck. Good on them!

NBC Announcer "Slightly off" for the American divers. Any other team "OMG!!! Look at that unison break!"

I have to be at work at 8 am, which means my alarm goes off at 6 am. What time did I go to bed last night? 1:30, of course. I had to watch the Romanians.

Nick McCrory's pits - does he have a family of crows nesting in each one?

My daughter just walked in, looked at the synchro divers on the telly and cheerfully proclaimed "Gay porn!"

He's David Boudia's (the hawt one whose GF is being shown every time they're about to dive) partner in platform diving. Not sure about if his legs are also hairy as I was too traumatized from NBC's zoom-in on his armpits to look elsewhere, but if I had to wager a guess, I'd say yes .

Rock and Roll Beach volleyball. The only olympic sport that plays loud rock music during a match.

    Go Misty and Karri!

They won't show it tonight since NBC showed it today, but the USA #2 men's team lost today.

Too close, ladies. Too close. And Mr. Announcer STOP talking about the streak or they're going to blow it.

Nick McCrory looks just fine to me, including those pits.

So was the US the only nation with the foresight to put the players names on their cold.weather shirts? I figured Aus wearing bras on the outside.was due to a mistake in preparing the uniforms, but now I see Cze has.the same issue

Volleyball finally ending. I have this urge to wear my shirt under my bra, but then the dog would hide and the family would need therapy.

    What's up next?

Anyone know what else is coming on tonight? Are they showing Men's gymnastics team finals or did they show it already today? I'm wondering whether I should go ahead and look at the results or remain unspoiled.
