A little update for our non-Russian friends.

As you might know guys, a few days ago, on February 7, 2013, there was a big show in Sochi called «One Year To Go!» The reason it might deserve your attention is not only because there was Alexei Yagudin and all the famous Russian champions.

One of the special things about this Olympic project is that it was created by Ilya Averbukh. The show has been highly appreciated by Russian authorities, so now there is a good chance that Ilya will be among those in charge of the Olympics Opening Ceremony! And if you didn’t watch the show yet, hope you’ll enjoy it, too!

Yagudin's MWO performance surprised me as I hadn't seen his more recent programs. Every now and then I rewatch some of his competitive programs from the past, but not from recent years, until I saw that MWO performance. Loved those steps, his attitude in that program, the attack. I enjoyed the complete program, not just the first part or the middle part or the last part, but really the entire program. He still has some of the best step sequences. Because I enjoyed that program so much, I'm curious to see his other recent programs.
