Wink Rick Mercer Report Takes On Ice Dancing

    This is HILARIOUS!: http://t.co/Elz1bPfACd

I have no clue if it's geoblocked outside of Canada as sometimes CBC YouTube clips are, but if you're able to watch, you'll definitely get a kick out of it! Love Rick Mercer.

    Love it! Love Rick!

Totally OT, but if you want to watch something really funny, search YouTube for the the Rick Mercer report where he goes bungy jumping with Rick Hansen.
A good rant is cathartic. Ranting is what keeps me sane. They always come from a different place. Take the prime minister, for example. Sometimes when I rant about him, I am angry; other times, I am just severely annoyed - it's an important distinction. - Rick Mercer

The wardrobe bar with all the jackets was a great touch.

    Brilliant! Always love Rick!
A few years ago, he visited the first Battle of the Blades and did a death spiral with Tie Domi! Then of course they got into a hockey brawl...

I enjoy Rick's shows and love his rants, even if I don't agree with them, he gets very passionate about the topic of his rant. I actually got to see him in London, Ontario a few years back. He was "hanging" with Tessa & Scott. WOW, he's very short. Then he went outside to outdoor rink that was across the street from the rink where he did a bit with the synchro team. Got to see it all when I got home and found it even more funny.

He hosts The Mercer Report, which is a popular political satire show on the CBC.

Rick Mercer also used to have a "Talking to Americans" and I found it funny and at times "enlightening". It was meant to poke fun at Americans about their lack of knowledge of Canadians.

It did get pretty ridiculous at the Team Event when Zoueva donned the Canadian team jacket to sit in the Kiss and Cry with V/M, and then immediate jumped up to change to a USA jacket to sit in the K&C with D/W. If the coaches have students representing more than one country they should just wear their own jacket.

Or they could wear jackets with multiple patches/logos like the NASCAR drivers.

Reminds me of when Jimmy Kimmel asks people about current events that didn't happen. Apparently Americans are a big bunch of liars who all just like to talk and sound like they know what they are talking about. I'm sure they just cut out anyone who questioned what he was saying. Fun

The one part I really liked was when Mercer talked about Canada having states and how many people didn't know the state capitals -- especially when we only had "11 states". Then one little boy (I presume he was the son to the woman being interviewed) piped up and stated that Canada has provinces and not stated. WTG young man!!!
