It's a bit too early to say that I think, but it's going to be tough.

Meh sailing, dont really understand who is where when I watch it.

Dont really get cycling TBH either Agree that no Aussies should have been helping the Cav - I mean, train all your life, make a billion sacrifices and get to the Olympic Games to help someone else win a medal? But it's talked about a lot in cycling right? Weird.

Looking good for first medal for GB in women's cycling road race. Better news is the medal chance is not Nicole Cooke!

    - Lorac - duh! You're a Brit, you know everything is done better in torrential rain!

Going to tear myself away from Gymnastics to see Nicole Cooke's interview where she will inevitably blame everyone but herself no doubt

Congratulations to Emilie Heymans and Jennifer Abel on their bronze in synchro diving. Emilie has become the only Canadian to win a medal in 4 consecutive Olympics. Cool!

Fantastic result! According to her Wikipedia page:
With this medal, Kim became the only American athlete to ever win medals in five consecutive Olympics.
Andy Murray (GBR) just defeated Stan Wawrinka (SUI) in 2 sets. I love Andy's wee Scots accent.

Zhou Jun of CHN did not lift a single valid lift in her snatch is out of competition. and no clean 4/4 gold for chinese women's weightlifters, this is a shocker...

    Chinese women's weightlifters in

    2000 went 4/4 gold
    2004 : 3 gold, one silver
    2008 : 4/4 gold
    2012 : 1 gold , 1 no medal, 2 athletes yet to compete...

This is the first time in Olympics that a chinese athletes have failed to win medal.

Weightlifting is so rude with the snatch and clean and jerk. That's even before we get into the lifters wheeeing themselves when they strain too much.
