Commentator seems a bit confused about why Ryan wasn't going very fast. I'm guessing it has to do with the relay.

I think the 200 meter gold will go to the chinese guy, he just shows confidence and looks very strong indeed, will be tough to Lochte and the others. Ryan will swim from lane 2

Wow, Rebecca Soni was last in the first 50, she had a poor start and reaction but recovered very well, second american will most likely advance too to the final

Ha. If you don't have cable (me), you have to put up with their nightly baloney. Which last night included--I kid you not--at least 10 minutes with Ryan Seacrest with Michael Phelps' sisters and mother at a picnic table, asking them stupid questions like "Did you ever think he would be this famous?" Amazing swim from the little Lithuanian Ruta! Dropped 2 seconds from her PB this morning and then some more now! Imagine being at the Olympics and still in that exponential improvement phase!
