I love the voice of the guy that does the swimmer presentation and calling, I remember his voice since the Sydney 2000 games

Commentator seems a bit confused about why Ryan wasn't going very fast. I'm guessing it has to do with the relay.

NBC's coverage SUCKS. They won't let us watch live on tv, and they provide us with a shitty feed that keeps freezing.

I think the 200 meter gold will go to the chinese guy, he just shows confidence and looks very strong indeed, will be tough to Lochte and the others. Ryan will swim from lane 2

Now, now. Do you really want me to bring rfisher in here to lecture you on how grateful you should be to have anything?

Wow, Rebecca Soni was last in the first 50, she had a poor start and reaction but recovered very well, second american will most likely advance too to the final

Yeah, I'm not betting on Ryan in the 200 free. I think it's the individual race he's most likely to lose (with the 200 IM being the second most).

Breeja Larson immediately corrects Shazza Davies on how her name is pronounced.

Ha. If you don't have cable (me), you have to put up with their nightly baloney. Which last night included--I kid you not--at least 10 minutes with Ryan Seacrest with Michael Phelps' sisters and mother at a picnic table, asking them stupid questions like "Did you ever think he would be this famous?" Really atrocious. I turned it off. The brief blips of showing, y'know, actual SWIMMING, could not make up for crap like that.
    BARK LESS. WAG MORE.

It's less like watching swimming and more like watching occasional pictures of swimming at this point.

Amazing swim from the little Lithuanian Ruta! Dropped 2 seconds from her PB this morning and then some more now! Imagine being at the Olympics and still in that exponential improvement phase!

I have the app running on my phone too...between that and my computer, I'm sort of catching entire races.

The app isn't even available on my phone despite it being a brand new droid 4.
